About StreamThisGame

A creator should be able to answer one question in well under a minute: what should I know or change before I stream this game?

Who it is for

Live and video creators choosing a game, preparing a sponsored stream, or checking a title before a long session. It is equally useful to a moderator or producer who needs to know what a game contains before it goes out.

What it does

Each guide collects the practical facts that are scattered across policy pages, support articles, patch notes, and creator reports, states each one separately, and links to the source so you can check it yourself. Where research found nothing, the guide says what was checked and when.

What it does not do

  • It does not give a single safe to stream verdict, because the facts do not average.
  • It does not guarantee that any track, scene, or policy is cleared for your use.
  • It does not host community comments, votes, or profiles.
  • It does not track viewers, channels, or your account.
  • It is not legal advice.

How it is maintained

Guides are written and reviewed by a person, dated, and re-reviewed on a schedule. Readers can report anything wrong or out of date, and those reports go to an editor rather than straight onto the page. The methodology explains the process, and the editorial policy explains the rules it follows.
